Went in to get a cleaning and check up since it had been a long time. I was a first timer to this office. All went fine. Dr. Saunders told me I had a few cavities in teeth that weren't bothering me. Fine , fix them. Then wanted to take out an old silver filling (also not bothering me)and replace it with a white one. Fine, if that's what you recommend. Well he hit a nerve, told me he did, he did the best he could to repair it and that I might have some sensitivity to it for a few weeks, its now 2 months later and it caused a infections, jaw pain and an ear ache. When I went it to have them look it over, no apologizes, his assistant looked at me like I was a pest for even coming in. And tells me I need to a root canal now and sends me a referral somewhere else. Oh and offers to go back in and kill the rest of the nerves and remove it. NO THANKS! I will not be returning.
Dr. Saunders has done an amazing job as my family's dentist for many years. Like everyone, I had apprehension about going to the dentist, especially when I knew I had a problem tooth. Dr. Saunders is a gentle dentist who put me at ease and helped me without judgement. My family also loves him and his staff, who are professional and kind. I recommend him to everyone, highly. Amazing experience at Waupaca Dental Excellence! I had several old fillings replaced with no discomfort. Dr. Saunders did a beautiful job and was great at explaining everything. He was efficient and made the process easy. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend.
I LOVE this dental office. The entire staff is courteous and professional. The hygienists are gentle while still doing a thorough job. Dr. Saunders is polite, professional and intelligent. He listens to his patients and suggests the best approach for each person. He is efficient but doesn't make you feel rushed through a procedure. I also appreciate that he is a true hometown dentist and supports his community. If you are looking for a dentist - THIS IS IT!
Had a great experience, staff was friendly and professional, greatest with bright smiles and warm hellos! Every step of my cleaning and inspection was very well explained. The dental tech took extra time for a great deep cleaning, since it had been awhile from my last appointment. Dr. Saunders was very professional in explaining my needs and going over my x-rays. Luckily I brush, floss and mouthwash daily, so I had no cavities, mild gum recession, but he was excited to tell me that if I take care of my teeth, I should never need any cavities filled or root canals. Recommended a nightime bite guard, so I went ahead and scheduled my follow up for molds. I won't be going anywhere else as long he stays around!!!!
