This kmart and the Stevens point kmart are the two best ones I have been in the state of wi .this one is cleaner then the old appleton one that usdo flood and the one in green bay by the packer statiam.the thing I like about kmart the best is being able to put stuff on layaway.to bad there are not as many as there usdo be
this kmart is a nice clean and well organised store, i would recamend you stopping by this location
Items on shelves aren't kept well, I saw bottles of mouthwash where every single one was dented or covered in white powdery stains. how does that happen and why is it on the shelf? it's oddly quiet with no music playing. the staff looks so unhappy. the cash registers are so old they've yellowed with time. the floor tiles are cracked broken or missing all over the store. the counter tops at the checkouts are very worn out. large sections of the store look like they've been abandon like the area in front of the checkout and the lay away department. there's a couch sitting for sale near the back that has been there for over a year. there's a milk cooler that has been there since i was a little kid. a very sad looking jewelry section with cabinets that don't have the lights turned on. in general the store looks very tired like an old city bus.
this store gives the impression that it either doesn't care , or doesn't make enough money to care.
Nothing ever rings up the right price, one line is all that is usually open and has the slowest checker in the world. They must kill an entire rainforest every week in the amount of needless receipts they give you. Although once in a while you can find good deals...just make sure it rings up correct.
The merchandise is antique, the staff is older than that. Check out slow? Wonder why?
